Jay Z shows off his 'daddy cool' credentials
Rapper takes over parenting duties from mum Beyonce
We've seen many pictures of superstar mum Beyonce cradling eight-month-old baby Blue Ivy Carter. But this week legendary rap star, and ultimate daddy cool, Jay Z has been spotted publicly taking up the reins.
Darling baby Blue Ivy was living up to the family's reputation of enjoying a bling lifestyle arriving in New York by helicopter, with Daddy Jay making sure she had ear protectors in place to deaden the sound of the noisy propellers.
The pair were both dressed in white; Jay accessorising with a green baseball cap and tradmark gold chain necklace and watch.
The heart-warming pictures of father and daughter are the most recent in what has been a summer of sharing for the Carter-Knowles family. Beyonce has been posting numerous images of their happy summer holidays, from Jay Z pushing her on a swing, to her being buried in the sand at the beach, to snorkelling in the sea.
Grammy award winning singer, Beyonce, also posted an adorable photo of herself bottle feeding daughter Blue Ivy, who can be seen wearing a mini T-shirt promoting father Jay Z's Watch the Throne tour with Kanye West.
