Katie Holmes – “Suri Cruise isn’t a spoilt brat”
Suri’s mum reveals that the jet-setting tot has to do chores and make her own bed – like normal children
With her want-for-nothing lifestyle and taste of high heels and being able to pick her own clothes out of her rumoured £2 million wardrobe, you’d be forgiven for thinking that 4-year-old Suri Cruise was spoilt rotten. But not according to her mum Katie Holmes!
Insisting that her mini fashionista is just like every other child, the 33-year-old revealed that she makes Suri do daily chores. “We wake up and we do the same thing. She does her chores. I think it’s very important,” Katie told Marie Claire.
It’s amazing how little Suri finds the time to fit in chores, what with her being dad Tom Cruise’s stylist and customising her clothes, but Katie assures us that Suri is not a little Hollywood princess. “She has to make her bed, take her dishes to the sink and she has to put her clothes in the laundry – she’s not nearly herself if she doesn’t get her chores done.”
Can you imagine Suri Cruise, clad in her bespoke high heels and Princess outfit ticking off her chores without any diva tantrums? No, us neither!
