Kelly Clarkson blurts out pregnancy news during concert
The mum-of-1 didn't mean to tell the world but couldn't help it…
Kelly Clarkson got so emotional during a concert in Los Angeles that she blurted out that she's pregnant with her second baby! The star was singing her ballad Piece By Piece during her tour at the Staples Center on Wednesday when she welled up and tearfully shared the news with her fans.
"I was not planning on announcing this, I’m totally pregnant! My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn't want you to think I'm on pills or something," she told the crowd. "I would like to apologise to my husband. This was not planned. I'm just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven't vomited yet. That's a win y'all."
The 33-year-old and her husband Brandon Blackstock are already parents to 14-month-old daughter River Rose.
Earlier this year, the mum-of-1 revealed she was hoping to try for another baby as soon as she finishes her tour – but it looks like she got pregnant earlier than hoped! "I do America until October, and then Canada in October, so I think we're coming here [to the UK] in November," she told Bang Showbiz in June. "Hopefully, because I plan on being pregnant very soon after that, so hopefully I get here!"
And the 33-year-old admitted it's hard fitting in pregnancy around a career. "After tour I want to start (trying) for the next one. It's hard being a woman and wanting kids and fitting in your career," she said. "I want them to be close together, because the other two are kind of close together, my stepkids."
