Lily Allen’s touching tribute to her stillborn baby boy
Pop star mum Lily Allen reveals how she’s still missing her son who she lost 5 years ago
Lily Allen has written a song in memory of her son who was stillborn 6 months into her first pregnancy when she was 25.
Lily, now the 30-year-old mum of two girls (Ethel Mary, 3, and Marnie Rose, 2), took to her Twitter account this morning and said:
"5 years ago today I was admitted to hospital. 4 days later I delivered a beautiful baby boy, but sadly he didn’t make it.
"It’s unlike me to discuss this sort of thing so publicly but I wrote this song in his memory when writing something for @panmovie.
"Please listen and if you fancy it, you could donate in his memory [to Sands charity] much love, lil."

The song, Something’s Not Right, which Lily co-wrote with Keane keyboardist Tim Rice-Oxley, contains the heartbreaking lines:
We had forever
We never got it together
I waited for you
For you I made it better
They kept telling me that it was unlikely
All I had to do was keep you beside me
Something’s not right
There aren’t many stars in the sky tonight
Something’s not right
Cause I know that it’s day but it’s dark outside
And I feel a weight in my heart tonight
Lily hasn’t commented that much about the stillbirth, but did say last year: "It was horrendous and something I would not wish on my worst enemy.
"But it’s not something you get over. I held my child and it was really horrific and painful – one of the hardest things that can happen to a person."
