Michelle Obama out with her daughters in London
US president’s wife and daughters dine at a Victorian English pub.
Last night, Michelle Obama and took her daughter, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, out for dinner at The Audley in Mayfair, an upmarket pub, reports the Mirror.
The barman, Bruno, who served the Obama ladies, said, "Michelle had a steak and the girls had fish and chips."
A crowd gathered, traffic stopped, and policed closed the road when they left the pub two and a half hours later. Yes, that's just a little more attention than the average mum-and-daughters outing usually receives!
The UK visit was only known about when Michelle and daughters arrived at Westminster (with plenty of security, of course!). They had stayed on in Paris after husband Barrack went back to the USA when his European trip finished. The Obama ladies flew into Stansted in one of the presidential jets, and headed directly to London.
Michelle, Malia and Sasha visited Big Ben, Harrods, and the Harry Potter set at Pinewood Studios. Michelle did drop into No.10 to see Sarah, Gordon Brown's wife.
