Peter Andre has confirmed on Twitter today that his baby daughter will be called Amelia.

So it looks like Peter and girlfriend Emily McDonagh have taken babyname advice from all you lot – as Amelia came top of our Help Peter Andre Name his Baby poll, taking 31% of your votes!

"Ok FINALLY we have a name for our beaut of a baby girl," tweeted Peter. "Ems, J , P and I have decided on Amelia :):):) So lovely fans, before you read it anywhere else, here it is. Love ya ☺ (sic)."

Emily gave birth to the couple's first child on 7 January at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Somerset, three weeks earlier than they had been expecting.
