A smock-style dress isn't really groundbreaking when it comes to maternity fashion. They nip you in under your boobs and elegantly drape over your bump with enough floaty material for you to release your inner earth mother hipness. And with the 70s revival, what better way to dress your bump this summer?
So we get where Jaime King is coming from with this dress – that is, if it wasn't for the fact that it's completely sheer. OK we love the fact Jaime wants to show off her amazing growing bump, but is this the way to do it?
The Sin City actress has gone topless leaving the ruching on the bib to cover her modesty. But down below, the 35-year-old has boldly worn black support pants to match the dress piping and her wedge ankle boots. So, OK, the pants do look nicely comfy; if only they weren't so visible!
The pregnant actress completed her look with a matching blue-green fur jacket at the Burberry fashion event in LA.
She announced on Instagram in February that she's expecting her second child with husband Kyle Newman. She shared a sweet picture of her 16-month-old son James Knight blowing bubbles with a sign that read: "I'm gonna be a big brother! Who da boss now. I'm so excited!!!!"
