Samantha Mumba's surprise buggy for her baby daughter
The Irish singer and actress reveals her unusual choice of pram for her "fierce" daughter Sage
Samantha Mumba might be a former popstar, with a rather glamorous lifestyle, but the Irish singer has bucked the celebrity trend and made a bit of an unusual choice for her buggy. She's forgone the usual Bugaboo, iCandy or Orbit and plumped for a buggy by safety-conscious Britax.
Rather than splashing out over a grand on her baby's wheels, Samantha has got the Britax B-Agile 3, that costs just £199.99 – hardly a megastar price tag!
While taking her newborn out for a stroll near her home in Fontana, California, the 32-year-old wore a black vest top and sporty leggings with bright pink trainers. And it's clear the new mum is keen to get fit and healthy for the summer after giving birth to Sage on 3 March.
Sharing a selfie on Instagram, she commented: "Working on getting that snapback in time for summer! One more week til I can workout again." We love that we can see Sage dozing in the background of Samantha's selfie!
The 1-month-old is Samantha's first child with her husband Torray Scales – but she's also a stepmum to his son Mason. The couple wed in February 2012 and announced they were expecting a baby together in September 2014.
