Singer turned model Sophie and husband Richard Jones welcome their third son
Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her hubby, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, welcomed their third son, Ray Holiday Jones, yesterday afternoon.
New dad Richard took to Twitter to announce the birth. “It’s a boy! Ray Holiday Jones was born today at 12:35 weighing 7lb 15. Mother and baby doing great. We are truly smitten. Love to u all. Rx, ” Rich tweeted.
Sophie, 33, went into labour not long after sharing a Twitpic on Tuesday and tweeting, “Nearly there…!”
Sophie and Richard, 32, who married in 2005, are already parents to Sonny, 8, and Kit, 2. Sophie had to have an emergency c-section when she gave birth to Sonn eight weeks early, while Kit arrived nine weeks early.
Sophie announced she was pregnant with her third child back in October. “I’m having another baby. Due in Spring. A little brother or sister for Sonny and Kit. Family e-b-jones are happy and excited. It’s a lovely thing,” she tweeted.
