Baby born on 10.10.10 at 10:10 and 10 seconds!

Parents and hospital amazed, as premature Niamh Bond was born on the luckiest day

To many, October 10, 2010 is the luckiest day of the century, which is why a mum from Sutton Coldfield was feeling lucky after giving birth to her baby daughter on this day at precisely 10:10 and 10 seconds.

Niamh Bond, who was born eight weeks premature and weighing in at just 3lb 7oz, left midwives at the Good Hope Hospital, West Midlands astounded as she arrived into the world with perfect 10s. “When I looked at the clock and saw ten seconds as well I was gob smacked,” mum Keelie Hearne told the Daily Mail. Keelie wasn’t due to give birth until November, but went into labour unexpectedly after her waters broke during her shift working as a waitress.

Niamh’s birth was recorded on a digital clock in the delivery ward and will certainly be a date to remember when her birthday comes along. “It’s amazing and hopefully being born on what is supposed to be the luckiest day of the century will prove a lucky omen for us and Niamh,” says dad Dean.
