Baby makes full recovery after rare keyhole surgery
Newborn girl has lifesaving operation at two days old

A baby girl has undergone keyhole surgery at just two days old.
Grace Millie Cogger needed the lifesaving operation to remove a blockage from her bowel, which was discovered while she was still in the womb.
The little girl is one of just three babies to have the complex operation and is now back home in Essex with her parents.
“Without the keyhole surgery, Grace could still be in hospital. She’s doing really well. She was in hospital for three weeks but now she’s home and keeping us up all night! But she’s worth it,” said mum Karen.
Doctors are hopeful that new keyhole surgery equipment will make some operations much safer for babies.
