Corrie’s Fiz tweets her pregnancy news
Actress Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz in Coronation Street, shares her happiness on finding out she's expecting her first baby

Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz Stape in Coronation Street, is expecting her first child with her restaurant-manager partner Chris Farr..
The flame-haired actress announced her pregnancy on Twitter.
"We have some news to share," tweeted the 30-year-old soap star. "Chris and I are expecting an addition to our family. Very happy."
Jennie's been at the centre of many a dramatic Corrie plot since she started playing Fiz as a teenager in 2001. In the soap live 50th episode, Fiz gave birth, prematurely to a baby girl she named Hope.
She's thought to be the first actress to 'give birth' live on a TV soap. We trust Jennie has no plans to do it for real in 9 months' time...
Congrats to both Jennie and Chris!
