Have you ever stood there grimacing, while your child, desperately blowing raspberries, covers their birthday cake with spit?

Trying to blow out a birthday candle when you're 2 years old can be a monumental task.
So what do you do? Stand over their shoulder gently blowing to try and put it out without them noticing? Hope a sudden draught will extinguish it?
Well, this dad has the answer – a simple hack that means a toddler never need struggle to blow their birthday candle out again.
The key is simply to use a straw. Give your child a straw to blow through and voila!
The candle goes out in a puff of smoke and the birthday icing is saved from a shower of slobber.
