Emmerdale and Hollyoaks stars make huge twins announcements
Quadruple the baby joy for fans of these soaps ????
It’s a wonderful day in two different fictional villages today ?
39-year-old Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has opened up about carrying twins after an 11-year struggle to conceive via IVF.
In an interview with OK!, Lucy confirmed that she and fiancé Rudi Coleano are set to welcome two new little ones into their family.
The couple already share 11-year-old daughter Lola, and have been trying to conceive again throughout Lola’s life.
Lucy - who plays Chas Dingle on the ITV soap - revealed one round of IVF treatment was unsuccessful.

She said that doctors could never determine why she and Rudi were having difficulties getting pregnant.
“Nothing was physically wrong with us,” she told the mag. “We had all the tests and Rudi’s sperm count was rocking and my egg reserves were fine.”
We know that's something many couples will be able to relate to.
Congrats on their lovely pregnancy news ❤️
Meanwhile...
Over in the Chester village of Hollyoaks, things are looking up for the actor playing troubled character Ste Hay.
30-year-old Kieron Richardson and husband Carl Hyland made an exciting festive announcement… they’re also expecting twins!
The couple shared their baby joy on Twitter with Kieron’s 174k followers - using a sweet video showing a Christmas tree with a ‘Baby On Board’ sign hanging.
They then unwrap a spectacular Christmas present, a board saying: ‘Twins Coming 2017’.
It seems that Kieron and Carl will welcome their babies via a surrogate, as Kieron wrote beside the same vid on Instagram:
“Merry Christmas to us thanks to the British surrogacy centre.”
Big congrats guys ??
