Halle Berry’s complicated custody battle finally resolved
Oscar winning actress has revealed that her and ex Gabriel Aubrey are now back on good terms
After the details of Halle Berry’s complicated custody battle with her ex-partner Gabriel Aubrey over 4-year-old daughter Nahla came to light, it was a matter of he said, she said.
However, it looks like the custody battle is now over, after the 44-year-old actress revealed the pair were on “amicable terms,” though Halle admits she’s glad she went through the courts.
“When there’s a child involved, it’s a relief when you can resolve things in a good way,” Halle has said, reports the Daily Mail. “As a couple, you reach an impasse. We need a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues.”
Halle also revealed that she’s glad her and Gabriel had set aside their differences. “I’m so happy we’re arrived at the place for her (Nahla’s) sake,” Halle said. “This is the best way. We both love her more than life.”
The actress isn’t the first celebrity to go through an ugly – and public – custody battle. Celeb parents Britney Spears, Sandra Bullock, Peter Andre and Davinia Taylor have all been through it, too.
