Idris Elba shares first pic of his new baby
Luther and Long Walk to Freedom star has named his newborn son after his late father Winston
Actor Idris Elba took to Twitter to announce the birth of his new baby – a boy called Winston.
The 41-year-old star of Luther, The Wire and Long Walk to Freedom has named his son after his own father, who died last September from lung cancer.
Celebrating the birth, Idris shared a picture of Winston’s tiny hand grasping his own finger.
“My Son Winston Elba was born yesterday," he tweeted. "Truly amazing :-)”
Winston is Idris’ first child with make-up artist girlfriend Naiyana Garth but he also has an 11-year-old daughter, Isan, with his ex-wife Dormowa Sherman.
