Tess Daly and Vernon Kay’s second daughter was born on Saturday, May 30.
The Strictly Come Dancing host, Tess Daly, 38, gave birth to 7lb 15oz Amber Isabella at 5.26pm at a London hospital.
Vernon, 35, said: She is absolutely beautiful and I’m thrilled.
The couple’s first child, Phoebe Elizabeth, now four, was born by caesarean section but the pair hoped for a natural birth this time.
Host of ITV show Beat the Star, Vernon, said: “I’m not squeamish, but no one likes to see their partner going through pain.”
Tess is already planning to get back to work to start filming the next series of Strictly Come Dancing in September.
A source close to the pair said: “Tess loves motherhood more than anything and as a couple family life for them always comes first before work.
“But now the baby’s born, she can enjoy the first few months of her life then step up to host the show with Bruce.”
