Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson have announced the birth of their first baby, daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson. Yay!
Posting on her own website, Jess shared the baby news. “Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson,” read the gorgeous pink banner across her homepage. Jess, as ever, shared all the details, adding that Maxwell weighed in at 9lb 13 oz and measured 21 ¾ inches.
Jess, who’s had a fair bit of media attention (including fellow celebs tweeting their eagerness for her to have her baby!), also had a sweet message for her supporters in the banner too: “We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives.” Aww!
After all the hype over her due date, confusion over whether she’d actually already given birth and pre-birth dreams, we hope Jess has a fabulous time as a new mum.
