Nick's currently appearing in Dancing With The Stars (it's a bit like an American Strictly...), and in a recent episode with the theme of icons and idols, Nick chose to talk about his wife, and said:

"There's so many influential people in my life. From teachers to the guys in my group but when I thought about it, my wife Lauren is my biggest idol and icon that I could think of. Lauren is the woman that I dreamed of. She's my saviour in a lot of ways."

He then went on to talk about how the couple have been trying for a baby for a year, and got emotional as he revealed: "It's been rocky, to be quite honest with you. There's been times when we thought it wouldn't happen."

And his wife Lauren has confided they were pregnant before and lost the baby. She said:

"It was really hard on Nick. Just watching him get so excited about something then just see him so hurt was hard."

The fitness pro – who married Nick in April 2014 – is about 4 months pregnant. And in a stunning only-in-America moment, the couple learned the sex of their baby during the live broadcast by opening a box filled with blue balloons, indicating an arrival of another Backstreet boy.

"They are so happy and overjoyed," a source told Us Magazine about their current pregnancy. "They've been trying and waiting for such a long time."

Nick, 36, – who you probably remember for his blond curtains and slick dance moves – proposed to Lauren, 32, in February 2013. They wed in a romantic California ceremony last year and his bandmates AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, and Brian Littrell were there.

Congratulations both!
