North West's ear piercing: Kim K faces Twitter backlash
Nori gets diamond earrings for her birthday – and Katie Hopkins tweets that she's an 'ugly baby'
North West has her ears pierced to mark her 1st birthday.
Kimye's much-Instagrammed toddler, who turned 1 on July 15th, was spotted wearing diamond earrings (above) as she was carried in the arms of her mum Kim Kardashian in New York.
Last year, we reported that girls in the UK are now, on average, getting their ears pierced at 7.
But not everyone is in favour of ear-piercing at such a young age. Former Apprentice candidate Katie Hopkins took to her Twitter page to voice her anti-earrings-on-babies opinions.
"North West. If there's one thing worse than an ugly baby, it's an ugly baby with pierced ears," she tweeted.
