Prince George turns 3: our fave mini royal moments

Meeting the public...

Not long after giving birth to her 1st child, Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, and husband Prince William, appeared outside of St Mary's Hospital in London to share in their baby joy with the (anxiously waiting) global media.

When arriving in New Zealand on his first royal tour, the then 8-month-old Prince couldn't hide the fact it'd had been a long flight ?

This grumpy face is a look we've all seen on our own babies - even royal tots get a bit sour-faced every once in a while!

Those dungarees...

Little George took the children's fashion world by storm when, at just 8-months-old, this pic of him in his sailor-style dungarees at a playgroup went viral.

The dungarees completely sold out and parents wanting to steal the royal's style were made to sit on an 8-week waiting list.

To be fair, they are pretty sweet - right?

Luckily, if your little one's just approaching the right age for 'em, we found a few alternatives to look for, instead.

With his new sister, Princess Charlotte...

Just 2 weeks after Princess Charlotte's birth on the 2nd May 2015, the young Prince cradled his baby sister in his arms for an official picture. Mum Kate once again acted as official photographer.

Looking dapper in blue knee socks and a smart white shirt with pale blue piping, George looked every inch the dapper prince - and the proud older brother.

Looking rather excitable!

Before his 1st ever appearance on the Palace balcony in June 2015 - Prince George had a cheeky sneak peek at the Trooping The Colour Parade from the window!

The then-2-year-old was held up by nanny Maria Ballalo.

Off to nursery...

The young Prince looked rather cosy in a blue quilted coat on his 1st day of nursery at the beginning of January 2016.

Duchess Kate was just like any mum when it came to her son's milestone - she was snapping loads of pics, which were shared on the Kensington Palace Twitter account.

Meeting Obama - in his bathrobe!

LOL.

We still can't get over this pic.

2-year-old George met US president Barack Obama - who was on an official visit to the UK in April 2016 - in a (to be honest, quite fashionable) white towelling bathrobe.

Prince George rode a rocking horse which the Obamas sent to him as a gift when he was born, and apparently stayed up past bedtime to say hello to the family's guests.

Nailing his first stamp...

Nothing says 'I've arrived' like landing your own stamp, eh?

George appeared alongside Prince William, grandad Prince Charles and great-grandma Queen Elizabeth II on his 1st stamp, for the Queen's 90th birthday (11th June 2016).

He definitely stole the show - and looks proud as punch to be there ?
