Cath Kidston and Aardman have joined forces for a new Wallace & Gromit collection, and while there’s plenty for grown-ups to get excited about, it’s the kids’ range that has really caught our eye.

Available at NEXT, the 60-piece Cath Kidston x Wallace & Gromit collection combines Cath Kidston’s colourful, hand-painted aesthetic with original Gromit sketches from Aardman. The collection features eight prints, bringing together Cath Kidston’s love of colour, texture and detail with the much-loved character’s playful spirit.
For little fans, there’s a particularly lovely mix of cosy layers, character-filled accessories and everyday wardrobe staples, making this one collaboration that could easily find its way onto Christmas wish lists.
The kids’ Wallace & Gromit collection is full of cosy autumn pieces
Among the standout pieces is a Borg jacket priced at £23, featuring Wallace & Gromit detailing that launched in July. There’s also a cute kids’ backpack for £45, or the compact floral backpack for £56 that's a practical option for school, days out or weekends away.
For cooler days, the collection includes a knitted crew neck jumper priced at £22, launching in early November.
There are also some easy-to-wear options for younger fans, including a long-sleeve T-shirt priced at £8.50, launching in late September, and an adorable check dress priced at £18.
The wider collection includes book bags that could be great for early readers, including a small Gromit spot book bag priced at £20.
The result is a range that feels playful without being limited to novelty character dressing, with pieces that could work as part of an everyday autumn and winter wardrobe.
There’s plenty for mums to love too

If you’re tempted to coordinate with your little one, the adult collection has a distinctly nostalgic feel, with everything from a rugby top and knitted tank top to dresses and pyjamas.
There are also statement accessories, including a check city tote for £65 and a city tote in a bow bag design for £60.
For fans who prefer their Wallace & Gromit at bedtime, the collection includes several pyjama styles too, including a jersey pyjama set priced at £38 that is available online.
There are also homewares featuring the Gromit prints including a door mat, cushions and mugs. And fans of Wallace's iconic phrase "Put the kettle on, Lad" will love the Gromit mugs as well as the tea set inside a cute suitcase that would make a wonderful Christmas gift for little ones.
