Former singer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Rachel Stevens has given birth to a baby girl, her spokesperson has confirmed.

The 32-year-old welcomed daughter Amelie at The Portland Hospital, London - a celebrity favourite for giving birth.

"Rachel Stevens and Alex Bourne are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter Amelie. Mother and daughter are both doing really well," Rachel's publicist had said.

Rachel went into labour last night and welcomed her baby girl into the world at 2:05am this morning.
