Sister Sister star Tia Mowry: ‘My husband will be deciding our new baby’s name’

He has a VERY unusual approach to it all as well - but would you do this?

Choosing your baby’s name is a big, BIG decision, right? And generally, we reckon it’s probably one most couples tend to do together, though not always.

Sometimes, mum takes charge and picks the name – just like Cheryl did with baby Bear Grey.

But here at MFM HQ, we’ve reported on a fair few stories where dad got to decide on the name by himself.

There was the cheeky chap who named the new baby after his favourite football club without telling mum, for example ?

And the guy who named their little girl after an ex-girlfriend without letting his partner know that was the case…

But, of course, it’s not all bad when it comes to dad naming baby, is it? Definitely not, according to former teen actress Tia Mowry, who is currently pregnant with her second child.

Tia was totally up for husband Cory Hardrict choosing 6-year old son Cree’s name, and will be asking him do the same when their baby girl is born.

Describing the very unusual way Cory’s coming up with ideas, Tia told Page Six:

“My husband named Cree, so he will be naming our baby girl. He did say that while he was in the air flying, he saw some letters in the sky that he had seen with the clouds, and those letters were going to find a name.”

“He felt it was just a very kind of spiritual moment for him, he says that he feels closer to God when he’s in an airplane so I was like, ‘OK, Cory.’ So we have those letters in mind, so we’ll see what happens.”

Well, that’s one way to do it… ?

Sounds like the new arrival’s name is hidden in the stars. What will it be? Only time will tell ❤️
