Rumours speculate that the Single Ladies singer actually wore a prosthetic bump when she announced her pregnancy last week
Beyonce surprised everyone when she announced she was pregnant with her first child on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards last week. Yet today, certain reports claim the star was actually wearing a prosthetic baby bump and that Beyonce is only around 8 weeks pregnant.
"She wanted the announcement to be dramatic, so she made sure she had a baby bump," an insider allegedly told MediaTakeOut.com.
"Bey's just TWO MONTHS PREFFO....and BARELY SHOWING," the website also wrote.
Maybe she borrowed the prosthetic bump from fellow Hollywood actress, Cameron Diaz?
However, the claims need to be taken with a pinch of salt - MediaTakeOut.com was the same media outlet that inferred Christina Aguilera gave her son Max a black eye - and it was promptly threatened to be sued by Christina's agent over the false allegations.

That said, we have to admit that Beyonce's bump does look slightly rounder in the photos from the MTV Awards compared to even more recent pics of her flaunting her bikini body on holiday in Croatia and on board a boat with her friend, mum-of-two Gwyneth Paltrow. But we all know how a different camera angle can change things!
Beyonce is apparently five months pregnant, according to the Daily Mail. Could she really have kept it a secret for all that time?
