X Factor star to become a dad
Singer turned West End actor Ray Quinn has secretly married fiancée and co-star Emma Stephens, in a tropical Barbadian ceremony. And while that’s rather exciting in itself, it’s the news that Ray’s to become a dad that we’re most thrilled about!
Ray, 23, who finished second to Leona Lewis in the 2006 series of X Factor, met new wife Emma, 26, when they starred opposite each other in the West End show Grease.
In an interview with Hello! magazine, Emma revealed she’s due on 24 July and said, “We’re deeply in love and having a baby together feels so right.
“In his speech Ray vowed, ‘I’m going to look after you forever and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you’. That really chocked me up,” added Emma.
Talking about the wedding, Ray said, “I’m so lucky to have Emma… I’ve never seen a more beautiful bride.” If you’re pregnant and planning on walking down the aisle, head to our pregnant bride guide.
Ray previously revealed to Hello! that he popped the big question on Christmas Day, and tried his best to make sure everything was as romantic as possible.
“I wanted to trick Emma into thinking I’d bought her a camera for Christmas, so I wrapped up a huge boxed puzzle game and put it under the tree,” said Ray. “I’d already planned where I would propose: the bench overlooking the sea, where her grandad used to sit… I had to entice her away from her presents and drive her there!”
