Chicco NuNu and Trio Living reviews

At the end of 2011, Chicco introduced a brand new pramette, the NuNu. The pramette, which means the pushchair allows you to add a carrycot in a pram-style set up, is suitable from birth – read our review of the NuNu to find out more. Stylish and practical, the NuNu is also travel system compatible when you add Chicco’s Auto-Fix Fast car seat.

The Auto-Fix Fast car seat is also compatible with Chicco’s Trio Living travel system. Our reviewer loved the folding system and compact frame, but wasn’t so sure about the suspension.

Kian and Jodi check out the Chicco stand – wonder what they liked?

Celebrities and Chicco

Marley and Me actor Owen Wilson reportedly uses a Chicco travel system for his son Robert.

This side of the pond, when MFM hit the Baby Show For Trade in 2011, guess who we spotted at the Chicco stand? Only Kian Egan (of Westlife fame) and pregnant wife Jodi Albert! We wonder what they use for their baby son, Koa, born December 2011?

Our reviewer loved the Lite Way

Chicco lightweight buggy reviews

With over 50 years experience designing and manufacturing products for babies and young children, it’s not surprising Chicco has a wide range of affordable, lightweight buggies.

One of the top contenders in this category is the sturdy Xplorer, which not only scored full marks in our review, it also features in our 2011 guide to 10 of the best buggies under £150.

Chicco’s Lite Way also made 2011’s 10 of the best buggies under £150 on MFM and our reviewer loved it so much she told everyone to “call off the search” as the Lite Way is “the only lightweight buggy you’ll ever need”.

With five different recline positions, umbrella-fold and chunky wheels, the London Winter stroller is perfect for getting in and out of the car, on and off buses and taking on holiday. Read our London Winter review to see what other top features helped this buggy score an impressive 4 stars out of 5.

While our reviewer of the Skip points out how the initial assembly is fairly awkward, once it’s set up, this lightweight buggy will pleasantly surprise you with its smooth ride on a variety of terrains.

Last but not least, read our review of the CT 0.6, an incredibly light (just 5.5kg), good looking and functional stroller.

Chicco’s Jazzy – fab and foldable

Chicco highchair reviews

Chicco also has a high-scoring selection of highchairs.

Our review of the brand new i-Sit points out this highchair’s top features, especially how it can easily be transformed from a highchair to a child chair and then to a proper seat for adults. The i-Sit is also included in our 2011 guides to 10 of the best funky highchairs and 10 of the best baby buys that grow with your child.

Our reviewer of the Chicco Jazzy describes the highchair as “modern, stylish and lightweight. It has a deep padded comfy seat with support to prevent your baby sliding down, a large removable tray and is even free standing when folded for easy storage.” In our review of the Jazzy, it scored a remarkable 4.5 stars out of 5, the same score as the funky patterned Chicco Polly. The Chicco Polly features in our 10 of the best highchairs and booster seats, as rated by you in 2011.

Another highchair that ticks all the right boxes is the Chicco Happy Snack Distraction, which has a handy storage basket underneath for keeping toys and books close to hand. It has also appears in our 2011 round up of 10 of the best highchairs and booster seats, as rated by you.

If you’re after an easy-to-use portable highchair, look no further than the Chicco 360 Table Seat, which features in our 2011 guide to 10 of the best travel highchairs and booster seats.

The sporty, lightweight Neptune car seat

Chicco Neptune car seat review

“A sporty-looking Group 1, 2, 3 car seat that’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to install, the Chicco Neptune is a real find,” says our reviewer.

Weighing only 4kg, the Chicco Neptune is an ideal choice if you need to move it between cars. Plus, it has a handy removable seat cover and an air circulation system to keep your child’s back cool, too. But it has been rated as a “Don’t Buy” by some – find out why.

The Chicco Ergo Play Gym has four play positions

Chicco baby carrier, play gym and safety gate reviews

For a different way of travelling around with your baby, read our review of the Chicco Caddy Backpack carrier. The Caddy Backpack carrier is comfy for your baby and you, with an adjustable padded waist harness to relieve the pressure on your lower back.

The Chicco Ergo play gym will keep your baby entertained from birth. It has four play positions that adapt as your baby grows.

As soon as your curious baby starts to explore, a safety gate can be a vital addition to your home. We’ve tested the Chicco Nightlight Safety Gate – an ingenious gate with a glow-in-the-dark feature.

The Wellbeing Feeding Bottles were a hit with our 8-month-old tester

Chicco feeding bottle reviews

Chicco has also created two BPA-free, anti-colic feeding bottles, the Chicco Wellbeing Feeding Bottle and the Chicco Evolution Bottle. Chicco’s unique selling point for both is the “physiological teat”, which may help make latching on easier.

Our reviewer’s 8-month-old certainly approved of the Wellbeing Feeding Bottle, as did our reviewer who loved that the bottle is easy to clean, sterilise and assemble.

The Chicco Evolution Bottle has a 30-degree angled neck that ensures there’s always milk in the teat and scored an impressive 4 stars out of 5 in our review.
