The Cosatto Noodle highchair is almost like a buggy with all its bells and whistles: 6-position height adjustable seat, 3-position recline (for post-meal snoozing!), 5-point safety harness, not to mention the comfort-plus padding for your baby to lounge in. The removable and washable seat cover is a bonus, too.
We didn’t get this highchair until our baby was eating properly but I imagine it might also be used as a baby chair for little ones. Then, by the time you’re weaning, your baby will already at home in the highchair.
At £90, it’s no budget buy, but it is something you’ll be using for a few years – more if you add to the family – so it could be a very solid investment. This is even more so the case with Cosatto offering an extremely generous 4-year guarantee on the Noodle highchair.
What we love
It comes in funky designs, and all are very retro. Is it just me or is all baby equipment becoming uber cool these days?
The Cosatto Noodle folds away easily and once folded doesn’t take up much space. And it’s lightweight (8kg) so is easy enough to pack up and load in the car when you go on holiday or visit the grandparents for the day.
It can be used from weaning to feeding without the tray, and can be adjusted to the height of your table so your child can eat with the family. When your baby is older, the seat can be lowered so they can to sit at their own table and play.
The removable tray is dishwasher proof and has a cup holder, which is essential, as many mums will tell you.
The fact that the seat can recline is fab. I know it’s not ideal for your baby to sleep at dinner time but sometimes we just get our timing wrong and to be able to hold on the dinner and recline her back for a nap is genius!
What to watch out for
Although the Cosatto Noodle folds away nicely, it does take up a bit of space when in use. If you have a tiny kitchen, this might not be for you.
You can probably get it cheaper than the RRP of £90, but it’s certainly not a budget, no-frills option. That said, there are highchairs around for more than double this price tag.
Who is the Cosatto Noodle highchair best for?
Parents after a deluxe option that does more than keep your baby in one place at meal times.
The Cosatto Noodle highchair is a winner. Your baby is going to spend a lot of time in their highchair so it’s worth making this a fun, comfy and convenient space. The Cosatto Noodle has handy features, is robust and stylish. The 4-year guarantee gives you peace of mind. However, it won’t work for every parent’s budget.
