Pros

  • Robust, ease out of packet

Cons

  • General wetness

Pampers Naturals wipes are decent value and kind to sensitive skin. These wipes are gentle enough to use on delicate bottoms, especially with the additional of aloe, and yet robust enough to clean up messy toddler hands, too.

As far wipes go, Pampers has always been my brand of choice although I’d not used Pampers Naturals before. I was confident my favourite brand would come up trumps and although they prove worthy in many areas, I found them to let themselves down slightly in other areas.

The recognisable green packet associated with Pampers is bold in the Naturals range and the packet states the wipes are naturally skin balanced and contain a combination of lotion and aloe for a natural clean.

What we love

I’ve always found Pampers wipes to be good value for a top brand, and Pampers Naturals are no different to the others in the range in this respect.

The aloe used in the wipes gives a really comforting, gentle fragrance to the wipes and clearly provides my baby’s delicate bottom with a kind wipe. I’ve always felt Pampers wipes are gentle to use top to toe on both my baby and my toddler, and the Naturals range appears to be just as kind as Pampers other wipes - and perhaps even kinder.

The wipes are strong and robust and one single wipe can easily clean even 3-year-old Georgia’s messiest face. They’re nice and easy to whip out of the pack one at a time. Perhaps the use of a fairly compact sticker to reseal the pack is the reason for this.

Having a baby with extremely sensitive skin makes you really conscious of the brand of wipe you use, as all the different ingredients, however mild, can react with their young skin. This is why I have stuck to the Pampers range for some time with my Zac, 11 months, as I know it won’t have an adverse reaction on his skin.

What to watch out for

The long-term moistness of the wipes isn’t quite as good as other brands I’ve discovered. Perhaps the use of a stronger sticker or, better still, a snap shut lid would help this.

Who are Pampers Naturals wipes best for?

Mums after a robust wipe from a well-known name.

MadeForMums verdict

Pampers Naturals wipes are good, gentle wipe for all skin types, although a skin patch test is worth doing before changing to any new brand. Soft and moist, Pampers Naturals wipes are reliable for dealing with the most stubborn stuff.
