Cosatto’s newcomer, the me-Mo, looks stylish, offers ultimate comfort, and is a great all-round travel system.

Chic yet practical, the Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi is a pram-come-buggy, that when teamed with the optional matching Group 0+ car seat (£130 of the price tag), gives you the Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi travel system.

The Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi offers the works. What you get for the £665 price tag is a lie-flat carrycot, a reversible buggy seat with 3-position recline, pneumatic tyres, easy to open and close lightweight chassis, adjustable handle, fleece-lined cosytoes sleeping bag, raincover and the car seat. On top of that, it’s extra easy to use and it’s an extremely comfortable drive. With the carrycot on, the system is 13.6kg, with the car seat it's 13.2kg, and as a buggy, it's 12.6kg.

With its natural ‘walk on the wild side’ design, Cosatto has stamped its trademark personality on the me-MO but in discreet fashion. It’s easy to see why this is their flagship product.

What we love

The Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi comes with accessories, such as the raincover and sleeping bag, so the only thing you need to buy separately is the car seat to create a travel system. It’s nice to know exactly what you’re getting for your money from the outset. And, the package really does have everything you could want.

From a company that claims to produce baby stuff with personality, the me-Mo is no exception. From its catchy name to the cute little hedgehog character, Spike, who appears on the side of the buggy and a ‘walk on the wild side’ nature design, it does exude a certain amount of quirkiness. But, this doesn’t take away from the fact that it looks chic, too. In rich black with a lime green trim, the Cosatto me-Mo is still very attractive.

In pram mode, the me-Mo is really quite comfortable and spacious, giving you plenty of time for your child to reach sitting stage. My nearly 6-month-old daughter Heidi still fits quite comfortably in there.

When you do need to change the me-Mo over from carrycot to buggy seat, it couldn’t be any simpler. With one easy click of a button, the carrycot is off and the buggy seat is on. Want to turn your child around to face you? One more click and it’s done. It’s the same for folding the me-Mo up and down - the click of a button is all it takes. I’ve had trouble in the past opening and closing travel systems, especially with a demanding toddler in tow, but the me-Mo couldn’t be any simpler.

The buggy child’s seat is snug, made even more so by the calf support you can pull up for ultimate relaxation. My toddler daughter Tippi particularly loved the snooze recline, and for that very same reason so did I!

Finally, for pushing ability, the Cosatto me-Mo is fantastic. It’s easy to steer and glides along ensuring a smooth ride for any sleeping babies or restless toddlers.

All in all, the Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi travel system is great and has everything you could want. It looks good, it does everything it’s supposed to in style and comfort. And, you get a four-year guarantee for good measure!

What to watch out for

The Cosatto me-Mo car seat didn’t feel as comfortable as the rest of the travel system and looked slightly bulky. But, you could opt for the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix car seat if you buy Cosatto’s Cabrio Car Seat Adaptors. I preferred this option.

While I liked the fact that the shopping basket is removable and has a zip basket, it is quite small.

When I put my 2-year-old Tippi in the me-Mo with the hood attached there wasn’t much room for growth, so you might have to think about how long you’d like to use the travel system for.

Who is the Cosatto me-MO 3-in-1 Combi travel system best for?

Mums who want value for money and comfort in style.

MadeForMums verdict

The Cosatto me-Mo is a practical yet quirky (in a cool way!) travel system. With the extras included it offers great value for money and it’s so simple to use there shouldn’t be any annoying struggles going on when opening, closing and moving it around. A luxury drive, this is a great all-round product, but you may want to purchase the alternative brand of car seat.
