The medieval castle is now owned by Merlin Attractions, and runs a tonne of family-friendly events throughout the year, including Halloween.
This year, the castle is back in full scary swing with daytime Haunted Castle events and the Castle After Dark evening celebration running throughout the October half term.
At both, you can find a variety of shows, mazes, schools and more, plus the educational Castle Dungeon for kids aged 10+.
Below, you'll find everything you need to know about the Warwick Castle Halloween events, including dates, price and how to get tickets.
What does Warwick Castle do for Halloween?
Warwick Castle has two main attractions during the Halloween season: The Haunted Castle and Warwick Castle After Dark.
Both see the castle get a complete spooky makeover and feature a tonne of family-friendly attractions, including mazes, shows, and Halloween games.
At both you can book a trip down to the Castle Dungeon; a guided walk through the history of the castle featuring true stories, actors, and a few jump scares for good measure.
The Haunted Castle
The Haunted Castle is the day-time part of Warwick Castle's Halloween celebrations. The event features 15 live shows and attractions, plus full entry to the castle and ground.
On the Dead Centre Stage there will be a number of interactive shows such as the Witches of Warwick Live, these shows feature everything from stories to quizzes and games, and even a Halloween disco. You'll also find Spooky Schools where you can drop off your child for plenty of games and mischief, and there's mazes like the Haunted Hollows where you'll encounter ghosts, demons and other creepy characters.
Warwick Castle After Dark
Warwick Castle After Dark is the evening version of their Halloween celebrations and is for the slightly more fearless among you.
At night the castle puts on the Festival of Frights, in which the courtyard is filled with live music, DJs, street food and fire eaters. The scare mazes are also more intense, with the actors looking a bit scarier and jumping out at you more.
Are the Halloween events at Warwick Castle family-friendly?
The Haunted House day events are completely family friendly, with plenty of events suitable for all ages. The only age restriction is on the Castle Dungeon, which is recommended for ages 10+.
Meanwhile the Castle After Dark event is recommended for children over 10 and all under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, so we'd only suggest taking your child if they're a fan of scary things.
What are the dates for Warwick Castle’s Halloween events?
The Haunted Castle runs from 26th October to 3rd November.
Meanwhile Castle After Dark takes place on the 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, and 31st October.
How much does Warwick Castle at Halloween cost?
For both the Haunted Castle and Castle After Dark tickets, it's much cheaper if you pre-book online.
Haunted Castle tickets start at £22 and Castle After Dark tickets at £23 when you book online but cost £39 if you turn up on the day. You can also book an overnight stay from £43 per person or get the Annual Pass from £49 per person.
