Annabel Karmel’s Blackberry and Blueberry Smoothie

  • Makes 1 portion

Vitamin-packed delicious way to help children reach their 5-a-day - perfect for a healthy breakfast or an afternoon snack

  • 60g blackberries
  • 60g strawberries
  • 30g blueberries
  • ¼ banana
  • 4tbsp blueberry or strawberry yoghurt
  • 2tsp honey (optional)

Method

  • Step 1

    Put the berries and banana in a blender, along with the yoghurt and honey.

  • Step 2

    Blend until all the lumps have gone and it’s a lovely deep purple colour, and pour into a glass to serve.

Tip - Use frozen fruit to create a thicker smoothie
