Homemade chicken nuggets with baked potato wedges

1 chicken breast, cut into strips

Home made breadcrumbs (grate some day-old bread)

1 egg, beaten

1 small potato


Why not try turkey instead of chicken?


  • Step 1

    Prick the potato with a fork and par-cook in the microwave for 5 minutes. Cut into small wedges.

  • Step 2

    Place the potato wedges on a greased baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil.

  • Step 3

    Dip the chicken strips in egg and then breadcrumbs and place on the greased baking sheet.

  • Step 4

    Cook the chicken and potatoes in 220°C for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

  • Step 5

    Serve as a finger food.
