Our Sleepy Time podcast, made in partnership with wellbeing and mindfulness experts In The Moment magazine, helps children aged 2 to 5 years, and 5 to 8 years, become settled and peaceful sleepers. Exercises and meditations have been created by psychologist and yoga teacher Suzy Reading, and will build into a toolkit that your child will be able to learn and use by themselves over time. Meditation expert Gemma David of The Quiet Heart is our soft-voiced podcast narrator.

Episode 1: Settling 2 to 5 year olds to sleep

If your toddler or pre-schooler is a bundle of energy at the end of the day, or gets anxious or frustrated about going to bed, these exercises will help to soothe and settle. Simple exercises teach your child to relax and let sleep come, helping them develop relaxation and self-settling techniques, even at this young age.

Younger children may need some extra help from a grown-up to help them follow the routine.
