How much does Disney Plus cost in the UK?

The Standard Disney Plus subscription costs £7.99 per month in the UK, or £79.90 for a full year (giving you 12 months of access for the price of 10 monthly subscription fees). Then there's a cheaper option - the Standard with Ads plan at £4.99 per month, or the Premium plan for a little more at £10.99 per month or £109.90 a year.

There is also the option to purchase a Disney Plus annual subscription as a gift for someone else. Disney Plus does not offer a free trial when signing up.

How do the new Disney Plus pricing tiers work in the UK?

From 1 November, new subscribes have three plans to choose from. These are:

  • Standard with ads: £4.99 per month, with ad breaks, two concurrent streams, no downloads
  • Standard: £7.99 per month or £79.90 annually, without ad breaks, two concurrent streams, and downloads on up to 10 devices
  • Premium: £10.99 per month or £109.90 annually, without ad breaks, four concurrent streams, downloads on up to 10 devices and Dolby Atmos stereo

What is included in the standard monthly price?

A monthly subscription gives you access to the entire catalogue of content on Disney Plus. This includes exclusive originals you can’t stream from anywhere else, Disney classics, blockbuster titles and documentaries.

The subscription includes unlimited Disney Plus downloads on up to 10 different devices and the option for up to 7 different profiles, which is great if you have a large family. There are parental controls and dedicated profiles for children to ensure safe viewing. You can stream on up to 4 screens simultaneously and host viewing parties for up to 5 personal friends with Groupwatch. There is 4K UHD streaming with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support on compatible devices for no extra cost and personalised recommendations.

What can you watch on Disney Plus?

The best films for young children include Disney classics Cinderella and Frozen, Pixar's Finding Nemo and Toy Story films, as well as newer releases including Encanto and Luca.
