Sally J. Hall has been a parenting and health journalist for over 20 years. She is a former Consumer Editor of Parenting & Birth magazine and former Editor of both Bounty (where she launched the Bounty Baby Product Guide) and Emma’s Diary, as well as contributing to many other parenting magazines and websites including MadeForMums, Boots Parenting, Netmums and Mother & Baby.
Her expertise on pregnancy, labour and birth is often sought by media outlets, as well as her comprehensive knowledge of baby products and gear.
For eight years, she published B Baby Magazine, a parenting title aimed at high net worth individuals seeking maternity care in the private sector. The magazine was distributed in places such as The Lindo Wing and The Portland Hospital.
She has also worked across several consumer titles, including Top Ten Reviews, Indy Best and ES Best, as well as contributing features to magazines in the vegan and eco sectors, plus a pet insurance website, contributing features on pet care. She also works with selected brands in the parenting industry, providing copy for their websites and social communications. She works with the publication teams at Imperial College London, helping write and produce literature for staff and students and she is a former Press Office Manage for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
She is the author of Eco Baby, A Guide to Green Parenting (Green Books), Plant Based Baby, a Guide to Weaning Your Baby Vegan or Vegetarian (Kindle) and was a contributing Editor to Watch My Baby Grow (Dorling Kindersley) She has appeared as an expert on Sky News and BBC Radio and spoken at the NCT Annual Conference.
