ER star welcomes baby boy
Parminder Nagra and hubby James Stenson are “thrilled” to have welcomed their new son
Former ER star Parminder Nagra has given birth to a healthy baby boy in Los Angeles.
The British actress, who shot to fame as Jess in hit film Bend it Like Beckham, was said to be “thrilled” at the new arrival along with her husband James Stenson.
A spokesperson for the couple said: “Mother, daddy and baby are all doing great.” He added that the pair had decided to name their son Kai David Singh Stenson.
Parminder, 33, had previously told Access Hollywood that the clothes she wore on ER had been perfect for disguising her growing bump.
“Blue scrubs and lab coats hide quite a lot,” she said. “I actually have a pair of my own custom made maternity scrubs courtesy of our wonderful wardrobe department made with stretchy fabric to fit round the bump!”
She added: “The guys at ER have been extremely supportive.”
Parminder and James tied the knot in January this year after dating for more than seven years. The pair had two ceremonies, a civil one and a Sikh one.
