Celebrity couple Sophie and partner Jamie Cullum announce their first child (without a tweeting)
Sophie Dahl and her husband Jamie Cullum have become parents for the first time – to a baby girl named, Lyra.
Sophie, who is the granddaughter of children’s author Roald Dahl, gave birth on March 2nd.
In a brief statement, issued through their spokesman, the couple announced their news, “Musician Jamie Cullum and his wife, the author and presenter, Sophie Dahl, have become parents… They are over the moon.”
According to the Daily Telegraph, the spokesman added that the couple would not be releasing any further details about their new daughter, including her weight and where she was born.
Dahl, 33 and Cullum, 31, have been keen to keep their private life out of the public eye since the start of their relationship in 2007.
