Susan Sarandon on granddaughter-to-be: 'Call me Honey, not Granny!'
Thelma & Louise actress Susan Sarandon's daughter is having a baby but the Hollywood star's vetoed being called 'Gran' – and has found a sweeter alternative
Susan Sarandon isn’t keen on being called ‘grandma’ when her daughter Eva Amurri Martino gives birth to her first child this year.
So the Thelma & Louise actress has an interesting alternative… she wants to be called ‘Honey’!
The 67-year-old even wore a 'Honey' name-charm necklace for her recent appearance on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"My hairstylist said it's a Southern thing, and I thought, that's kind of fabulous," she told The New York Times.
"I like that. 'Honey, come over here.' 'Where’s Honey?' That's the plan."
We reckon the mum-of-3 might be on to something.
But what do you think? Do your kids have special names for their grandmother or grandfather? Do let us know in the comments below!
