Pear puree
Suitable for first weaning. Makes six to eight portions.

Ingredients
2whole ripe pear
1dash cooled boiled water or your baby's usual milk
Method
Peel and core the pears and chop into small pieces.
Place in a saucepan and add enough water to cover the fruit. Simmer for five to 10 minutes, until soft, then drain.
Blend with a little cooled boiled water or some of your baby's usual milk.
Hints and tips
Suitable for freezing.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Free from cow's milk (if made with cooled boiled water or breastmilk), egg, soya, gluten and nuts.
