Pregnant Sheree Murphy was positively glowing as she turned up for Alex Gerrard’s stunning baby shower.
Sheree, 35, was among many who arrived to celebrate with Steven Gerrard’s wife, who is due in just nine weeks! With Sheree carrying a bag of goodies for the mum-to-be and wearing pretty impressive high heels, it was clearly a stylish affair.
Talking about her friend’s big do, Sheree tweeted: “Just been at a baby shower all day…had such a lovely girly day. Haven’t laughed so much in ages!”
The pals even compared bumps, with Sheree tweeting: “The mum to be only has 9 weeks till she has her baby… slightly gutted my bump (and bum) was bigger than hers!”
Alex is expecting her third with Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard while Sheree is expecting her fourth with former Liverpool player Harry Kewell.
Justine Mills, a cricket boutique owner, was among the lucky few to attend and also came bearing a pretty hefty stack of presents for Mrs Gerrard.
Baby showers are all the rage in the US as actress Penelope Cruz and diva Mariah Carey held swanky bashes to celebrate.
Posh held a true A-lister event, celebrating her pregnancy with the likes of Demi Moore, Selma Blair and Nicole Richie. But you wouldn’t expect any less when the party’s organised by Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.
