MFM Mum Recipe by Twinny2

brownies

Ingredients

225g sugar

3 medium eggs

50g butter

70g plain flour

3 tablespoons of cocoa

1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

Edible cake glitter

Method

1 Cream the sugar and eggs together.

2 Add butter, cut into cubes, and mix in until there are no lumps. Then add the vanilla essence.

3 Sieve the cocoa, baking powder and flour. Fold in carefully to the mixture. Add the pinch of salt.

4 Pour into a greased square cake tin and cook for 20-25 mins at 180C.

5 To check the brownies are cooked, make sure they feel spongy to the touch and that when you insert a skewer into the middle, it comes out clean.

6 When cool, shake edible glitter sprinkles over the top to give them a fairy glow.
