Sadly for mama-to-be Middleton, the pram proudly featured in a half page advert in yesterday’s Times was merely a hilarious April Fools hoax from the German car company.

The ad, titled “Your P.R.A.M. MA’AM” appeared to introduce a high-tech automobile, boasting of “EfficientDynamics technology, built in extendable flagpoles” and the ability to “ride as smoothly on the polo field as it does down The Mall.”

The self proclaimed “master of motherhood” also claimed to come fitted out with “N.A.P.P.I.E. (Nanny-Assisting Petrol Powered Injection Engine)” and was described as the perfect pram for those who are “too posh to push.”
