  • 7. Jané Trider, £495

The chic Jané Trider is a comfy, cosy and smooth ride for your little one, says our reviewer, with its three large all-terrain, puncture-proof rubber tyres and adjustable suspension.

The Trider’s high seat position is designed to raise your child above car-fume height, and allows the pushchair to be drawn up to a table and used as a highchair - handy in a restaurant.

The frame will stand unsupported on its end to save space once folded and quick-release wheels can be removed for an even more compact footprint (this takes the folded size from 70cm x 60cm x 39cm down to 65cm x 48cm x 30cm).

If you want a sturdy and versatile pushchair that will last you a long time and is really easy to fold this could be a great system. It can also support itself freestanding, which is great for storage, and has an easy fold system, which our reviewer loved.

At 58cm wide, it should fit through every doorway, and it has a good amount of storage.

Launched back in 2013, Koochi is the new urban, street-cred baby and toddler line created by Bolton-based children’s brand Cosatto and it's easy to see the family resemblance with the distinctive designs - no boring black here.

Koochi highlights the Pushmatic's mini 6.7kg weight as being its standout feature, and our reviewer loved this featherweight lightness. But it doesn't compromise on substance and tackles tricky terrain easily with its front and rear wheel suspension.
