Pros

  • Comfortable, durable, easily stowed away, easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to use, lightweight, portable, stable, stylish, 5-point harness for safety, rubber feet for extra grip

Cons

  • Height can't be adjusted

The lightweight and modern looking Chicco Jazzy is a highchair suitable for families short on space, but it’s not height adjustable.

The Chicco Jazzy has many of the great features of Chicco’s original highchairs, but takes into consideration that people with space issues (like me!) want something lighter and easier to store than a huge highchair dominating their kitchen. The Jazzy weighs just 5.7kg and it’s free standing when folded. The legs can also be split, making it very compact for travel.

The Chicco Jazzy is modern, stylish and comes in a choice of bold, funky colours. It is suitable from 6 months to 3 years, or 15kg. It features a deep, padded, comfortable seat cushion, which can be removed to help with cleaning. There’s a 5-point harness for safety, and a large removable tray with cup holder. It has three recline positions, but isn’t height adjustable.

What we love

I was dreading putting the Chicco Jazzy highchair together when it arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy to assemble.

This highchair ticked all the boxes for me, as it was very easy to clean, easy to use and easily stowed away.

I’m quite a small person so I loved that the Chicco Jazzy was lightweight enough for me to move around, but at the same time still a durable, quality product.

My baby Isabella, 10 months, found the padded seat very comfy, and with all the food she’s consuming I’m relieved the seat is roomy enough to last her as she becomes a growing toddler!

Isabella is a very wriggly baby so the 5-point harness means I can relax knowing she is safe and won’t slip down.

Isabella is just starting to discover she can feed herself so the large tray is a massive bonus for all those messy spills.

I also think this highchair is good value.

What to watch out for

Although the Chicco Jazzy has a 3-position reclining seat, you can’t adjust the height, unlike the Chicco Polly, which has seven height settings but is much bigger. The fixed height unfortunately means you can’t pull the highchair up to the table with you at mealtimes.

Who is Chicco Jazzy best for?

Mums short on space after an option that can also travel.

MadeForMums verdict

The Chicco Jazzy highchair is easy to use, open, close and stow away. It’s a comfy option and roomy enough to last well past babyhood. The only downside is that it doesn’t offer an adjustable height.
