I think nursing and maternity bras can seem quite intimidating (and ugly) for first time mums-to-be, but the Nursing bra Summer is almost like a normal bra.
What makes it different is the fact it’s made from a super-stretchy microfibre, so it grows with you and it is has a drop down cup.
I am currently pregnant with my second baby and this is such a great option for an item that can be worn throughout pregnancy and for nursing your baby.
Is it comfortable?
Yes, it is soft against my skin, has narrow but supportive straps and is seamless, which means I’m not limited to wearing certain clothes! Bonus.
The foam-lined cups are softly underwired and it comes in a huge range of cup and back four sizes 32-38 (C to G cup), 40 (C-F cup) and 42 (C to F cup), so it will grow and shrink with you.
Made from a nylon (70%), elastane (15%) and polyester (15%) blend, the fabric is breathable and it has a loose moulded shape for definition and uplift.
How is breastfeeding with the bra?
There’s an inner sling, so you can drop it down for feeding and then reconnect the clip afterwards, so the bra stays in place throughout.

I breastfed my daughter, who is now two, for a year and plan to do the same with this little one, and have had many maternity bras, but his one is one of the best as it makes feeding easy and is comfortable.
What do you think of the design?
I tried the hibiscus colour, which is bright, fun and stylish. It does come in more neutral colours, including black and white for everyday wear.
This is the ideal t-shirt bra, but it’s worth noting that it is a full cup, so low cut tops and dresses are out. Saying that, this does mean you are supported very well.
Is it value for money?
That depends on whether you’re a person who is willing to spend money on a quality item. At £45.99, it is at the more expensive end of the market but in my opinion, a good bra is worth three cheaper ones!
