Ingredients

  • 2tbsp Sesame oil
  • ½ Onion, chopped
  • ½ Pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • 500g Minced beef
  • 1tbsp Tomato purée
  • 40ml Very low salt vegetable stock
  • 150g Broccoli, chopped
  • 200g Rice

Method

  • STEP 1

    Heat the sesame oil in a wok or frying pan and stir fry the onion, carrot, pepper and broccoli for three minutes.

  • STEP 2

    Add the beef mince and continue to stir fry for five minutes until the mixture is completely cooked through and soft. If it dries up while cooking, add a tablespoon of water.

  • STEP 3

    Remove from the heat. Mix the tomato puree with the stock and pour into the pan.

  • STEP 4

    Mash the mixture to the desired consistency and serve with rice.

Try serving with noodles, cut into small strips with kitchen scissors for young babies.
