Beef and broccoli stir-fry

Quick and easy minced beef stir fry with plenty of veg and protein for your little one, suitable from 11 months

Beef and broccoli stir-fry
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 0.5 pepper, de-seeded and chopped
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 40ml very low salt vegetable stock
  • 150g broccoli, chopped
  • 200g rice


  • Step 1

    Heat the sesame oil in a wok or frying pan and stir fry the onion, carrot, pepper and broccoli for three minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add the beef mince and continue to stir fry for five minutes until the mixture is completely cooked through and soft. If it dries up while cooking, add a tablespoon of water.

  • Step 3

    Remove from the heat. Mix the tomato puree with the stock and pour into the pan. 

  • Step 4

    Mash the mixture to the desired consistency and serve with rice. 

Try serving with noodles, cut into small strips with kitchen scissors for young babies.
