Tesco Clubcards offer a huge range of benefits, including points, vouchers, coupons and larger Rewards schemes.

While the most famous perk is probably the Clubcard prices – those familiar yellow signs that offer you exclusive prices at checkout – our absolute favourite is the Days Out vouchers.

You see, every time you scan your Clubcard on your weekly shop, you accrue points. These points can then be turned into vouchers that are worth double their face value – so £5 in points is worth £10 in vouchers, for example. Then, this can be spent with one of Tesco's hundreds of partners including Cineworld, theme parks, English Heritage and more.

So, if you're in the midst of planning your summer days out with the kids, you might be sitting on a veritable gold mine of points, which could in turn save you money on dozens of UK attractions.

Whether you're intending to visit LEGOLAND, Madame Tussauds, or your local bowling alley, you can use your Clubcard to save.

Below, we've assembled a long list of the best UK days out you can buy with Clubcard points, plus we've answered your biggest questions on how and when to use the Clubcard.

Where can I spend my Tesco Days Out vouchers?

Tesco Clubcard is partnered with dozens of days out across the UK. You can save on visits to all major theme parks, like Chessington and Alton Towers, plus famous wildlife parks like Woburn and Longleat. Plus, the Clubcard is linked with English Heritage and the RHS, which means you can save on entry to castles and countryside walks. And, last but not least, the Clubcard allows you to save on closer-to-home entertainment like Tenpin and your local cinema.

How do I use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for family days out?

It’s easy to exchange your Tesco vouchers for days out tickets, all you have to do is log into your Clubcard account, find the Days Out section, select the attraction of your choice and click "Start Your Order."

You'll then be given a set of instructions for how to claim your voucher – normally you'll receive an email with a discount code, which you'll then need to take over to the main attraction website (e.g. LEGOLAND) and enter the discount code there.

Tesco attractions typically offer £1 to spend on tickets in exchange for £0.50 of vouchers – so double what you've saved – but do read the small print. Each attraction has their own terms and conditions when it comes to using Clubcard points, and once you’ve exchanged your points for vouchers, they can’t be transferred back. So, before you cash in your points:

  • Check the attraction you want to visit has availability on the day and time you want to go. Some dates may be excluded.
  • Check which tickets are redeemable. For example, some places only allow you to use Clubcard points for ‘on the day’ prices (rather than ‘advance online’ prices), or might only allow you to buy ‘individual’ tickets (rather than a ‘family’ ticket) – so it might actually not be much of a saving. Use your points wisely.

How long do Tesco Days Out vouchers take to arrive?

Tesco Days Out vouchers are sent via email, not in physical form, which means they can arrive instantly, or take up to 24 hours to be processed and sent your way.
