Catherine Tyldesley is just 6 weeks away from giving birth to her 1st child. And, the Coronation Street actress reveals, she can't wait for the big day. "Now it’s really close, I’m actually excited about going into labour. I’m so impatient," she told OK! magazine at her Alice in Wonderland-themed baby shower.

"Every day I sit down for half an hour and concentrate on my breathing techniques," she said. "Often the baby moves around loads because I’m taking in more oxygen, so it feels like a bonding session with the baby."

But Catherine's prepared to be flexible about her birth plan. "As much as I’d like to go down the natural road," she said, "I can’t beat myself up if I need medical intervention."

Catherine recently shared a picture of her growing bump and admitted that late pregnancy definitely has its challenges. "Having a bump is getting harder: I’m double-jointed and I’m struggling to put my socks on!" she tweeted.

Mind you, she's found a few pregnancy-belly upsides, too: alongside a pic of a artfully-balanced cuppa, she posted: "Tell you what, these bumps are crackin' brew shelves! #multipurpose #cheers son."

And she's revealed that her latest 4D scan showed the baby boy is the spitting image of her fiancé Tom Pitfield. "He looks like Tom," she said. "He's a real wriggler, and he’s very cute. I love feeling him kick."

Aww, we can't wait to see him!
