Baby girl arrives on Father’s Day
Chantelle Houghton and her cage fighter fiancé Alex Reid celebrated the arrival of their first child yesterday.
Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle, 28, gave birth to a baby girl yesterday morning, and both mother and baby are said to be happy and healthy.
Just hours after the birth Alex, 36, took to his Twitter page and wrote: 'I'm delighted to announce the arrival of my beautiful baby daughter early this morning. Both mother and baby doing well..X'
He later added: 'This really is the most amazing day ever for the 3 of us. Life isn't good, it's great. I love my girls so much. Happy ecstatic father's day!'
Chantelle first announced news of her pregnancy in November, having previously been told she could be infertile after battling bulimia when she was younger.

But while the pair were clearly delighted at the prospect of becoming parents for the first time, just a few weeks ago Chantelle had said she was ‘petrified’ of giving birth.
On top of these anxieties, the celebrity couple’s relationship has been far from perfect over the past few weeks, after it was reported that Alex had been cross-dressing again.
But Chantelle recently confirmed that things were back on track, saying in her New! magazine column: ‘After the worst three weeks ever, things are a lot better between Alex and me. Any suggestions that I know my relationship with Alex is over are completely untrue.’
The delighted couple are yet to reveal the name of the tot or any other details about the baby, including her birth weight. So, any bets on the name?
